February 2011 Meeting: Mike Schornak, Presentation will focus on his recent trip to Belize and the herps of the area

At the February Meeting Mike Schornak will be presenting about his recent trip to Belize. "This past summer I had the oppurtunity to travel to Belize and explore some of the wilderness and cultures. Of course the things that stood out to me most from the trip were the herps. Belize has a lot of everything, frogs, crocodiles, snakes, turtles, and more amphibians than one knows what to do with. Belize has a tremendous amount of herp species at about 151. It also has one of the largest tracts of ?undisturbed? rainforest outside of the Amazon."
