January GCHS Meeting

Dr. Lucinda Lawson will be speaking on the "Diversity of the African Reed Frog Genus Hyperolius" Dr. Lucinda Lawson is an interdisciplinary evolutionary biologist at the University of Cincinnati who combines complementary datasets such as genetics, morphology, and landscape variables to understand how diversity is accumulated at the individual, population, species, and community levels. Her research spans tropical Africa, North America, and the Gal�pagos Islands � and encompasses amphibians, mammals, ants, and birds. The goals of her research are to document current biodiversity, understand the forces of it accumulation and maintenance, and better protect that diversity in our ever-changing environment.
