Pete Strimple, Topic: Anacondas!
Now residing in Florida, Pete Strimple is one of the founding members of the GCHS, and a former president. He has written numerous herpetological papers and articles, and was the editor of the Greater Cincinnati Herpetological Society?s only book, Contributions in Herpetology
Pete?s herp interests include:
-Green Anacondas: He has successfully maintained and bred green anacondas, as well as participated in field studies in South America
-Monitor lizards
-Rattlesnakes
The topic of Pete?s talk will cover his work with anacondas both in the field and in captivity
